Ramón Alejandro Ochoa (born August 1, 1979) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter from San Diego, California. He is best known for his role as Fez in That '70s Show.

Early Life
Ochoa was born and raised in San Diego, California, to Luz (née Morales) and Ignacio Ochoa. He has an older sister, Selena. He is of Mexican and Guatemalan descent. His paternal grandmother is French. Ochoa speaks Spanish, English, and conversational French, which he learned as a teenager to better connect with his grandmother. He plays the guitar, piano, and trumpet.

After graduating from high school, Ochoa moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. During this time, he lived with an uncle and worked as a bellhop at the Sunset Marquis and a dogwalker.

Career
Television and film career
In 1997, Ochoa followed a friend to audition for a pilot for a new sit-com as support. Encouraged by the casting director to audition despite his lack of experience, Ochoa ultimately won the role of Fez for what would become "That '70s Show."

For eight years, Ochoa excelled in the sit-com space. His work in Crazy/Beautiful (2001) and Friday Night Lights (2004) marked a distinctively different side to Ochoa and propped him up for a successful career post "That '70s Show."

Critics later noted that his work in The Lucky Ones (2008) and End of the Watch (2012) marked a clear departure from his comedic work and set a new tone for his career. In February of 2015, it was announced that Ochoa had been cast as an unknown role, rumored to be Chato Saldana/El Diablo, in the upcoming Suicide Squad (2016).

Music career
Though Ochoa initially moved to Los Angeles for music, Ochoa has said that once he became an actor, he stopped considering a professional career in music. He cited an old girlfriend as the biggest motiviation for making the jump in 2014.

In 2014, Ochoa's mixtape was given to Lenny Kravitz by a mutual friend. Kravitz then invited Ochoa on tour in late 2014 after Ochoa's "Gang Related" was cancelled by Fox.

Ochoa's most notable track, "6 8", is also sampled on "Jungle" by Raph on his fourth studio album, If You're Reading This, It's Too Late (2015).

Ochoa has said he is unsure of his future in music and that he is playing it by ear, though he would like to make more out of it.

Personal Life
Ochoa dated actress/musician Lili Halchak from 2011 until 2013.
